To the east of the Mildaark Forest lies the mist-wreathed land of Vauhaemia. This realm is the dominion of Vampires - creatures who have given up their humanity in return for ever-lasting life. These fell beings dwell in the dark corners of the world and employ profane powers to enthral others into serving them.
Some Vampires, bored with rotting within their bat-infested castles, descend upon the mortal world to seek blood and sport. The Mildaark Forest is a perfect hunting ground and accompanied by their entourage they delightfully prey upon those who dare walk abroad at night.
