Flowers are placed on graves to honor those who are gone but not forgotten. Long-lasting flower arrangements in graveyards are called " IMMORTELLE ", and may consist of dried flowers or flowers made with different materials. But even here there is no permanent rest – it is not uncommon for such flowers to be moved or stolen.
