Strike from the shadows! The Empire of Japan uses the power of stealth, the capability to phase through solid objects, and fanatical devotion to their cause to launch co-ordinated close-quarters attacks before fading away just as quickly as they had appeared. At the core of the starter army is an Assault Platoon. Led by an LMG-armed Platoon Commander in heavy powered armour (sculpt exclusive to this set), the platoon is anchored by a unit of Assault-Frame armoured infantry and a Ghost Attack Squad, capable of redeploying anywhere on the battlefield by exhausting a Rift Die, and bringing their Shiboru rifles to bear on an unsuspecting target! A Sasori Light Walker lends its support at the head of an Armoured Platoon, supplemented by a Chi-Ha tank that has been reequipped with a Shiboru Cannon of its own. The combined weight of all the Crush weapons available across both platoons should give any tabletop foe cause for concern.
